If you have a few free hours Monday through Friday during the daytime, you can help save a life! Volunteer drivers are needed for the American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program in the Rochester, MN area. Drivers donate their time and vehicle to take cancer patients to treatment.
Drivers are needed throughout the year . Volunteers must have a good driving record, a valid driver’s license, a serviceable car with seatbelts and adequate insurance coverage. Volunteer drivers need to be friendly and compassionate. Drivers must respond to all patient ride requests in a timely fashion and follow through on all commitments.
Drivers choose the dates, distances, locations, etc... they are available to volunteer providing the most flexible opportunity! We have an online matching tool that allows you to view requested rides and accept the ones that work best for your schedule.
