All experience levels welcome! I'm looking for people to participate in any of the following: measure, cut, iron, serge, straight stitch, fold, thread, unwrap, carry between project stations, sort, count, and monitor quality.
I'm also interested in any and all ideas for spreading awareness of the need for sustainable menstrual hygiene management solutions. Volunteers willing to network, blog, use social media, write grants, or fundraise are enthusiastically welcomed!
In addition, we can use people able to translate into any and all languages!
We meet at various libraries and churches, usually two Eastside events per month. So far, we've reserved room 1 of the Bellevue Library for Fri Aug 23 (11-4pm), the meeting room of the Kirkland Library Sat Sept 21 (1-5pm), Fri Oct 4 (2-6pm), Fri Nov 8 (2-6pm), and Fri Dec 6 (2-6pm).
Also, we'd love to have a sizeable group at the National Period Day Rally in Capitol Hill on Sat Oct 19, 12-3pm (Cal Anderson Park, near Seattle Central Community College).
Special: The Ballard Team is having an event on International Day of the Girl Child, Fri Oct 11.
