Volunteer Dog Walker for Weekend Adoption Events. 11:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Volunteer for an hour or two or for a whole day (5 hours) Walk dogs during weekend adoption events. Dogs present at adoption events stay in crates during the five hour adoption events. To give the animals a break to relieve themselves and get some light exercise, you will be responsible for leashing up each dog, taking them from the crate and walking them around the green spaces located immediate around and adjacent to the Petsmart store's parking lot and vicinity and then returning the dog back to its crate. All equipment provided (leashes, potty bags, plastic gloves if desired, dog treats). Volunteer for a couple of hours or for the entire 5 hour adoption event. Instruction and assistance provided by the senior volunteers who are present at all adoption events. Adults and seniors welcome. Teens 15 and older welcome with a signed parental release required. Youths less than 15 years of age may volunteer if a parent or adult guardian volunteers with them.Volunteers who work an entire adoption event (5 hours) are treated to a snacks and/or cold beverages.
