CEC has been in Houston since 1971, and therefore has a tremendous number of documents from over the years. Many of these documents are held in the archives of both the Houston Public Library and the library at University of Houston. We are seeking an individual who loves to explore or is interested in history to go through our archives for documents of interest. In addition, this individual may spend time in the office reviewing files to submit to the archives at the University of Houston. Finally, as our 50 th anniversary as an organization approaches, the volunteer will be asked to help use their knowledge gained from the archives to create a timeline showing important events in the history of the CEC.
*Conversion to an internship for academic credit available
