Lake Katherine welcomes groups from corporations, universities, high schools, religious groups, and other community organizations. A minimum of 3 hours and a group of 15-20 people is recommended, though we can accommodate up to 25 people. Groups are typically scheduled on weekday mornings, however afternoon hours may also be available. Groups help with projects such as removing invasive species, chipping trails, planting, weeding and general clean-up, depending on need.

Description
Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens is an 85-acre non-profit park that includes woodlands, prairie, wetlands, gardens and a 10-acre lake. An estimated 100,000 people come to the park each year to hike, jog, walk their dogs or to simply enjoy the beauty of the gardens and the abundant opportunities to see wildlife.
