**This position is for current high school students only. Volunteer hours may be used toward school service hour requirements.**
Camp counselors assist and contribute to the weekly planning and implementation of summer camp activities. Camp counselors should be enthusiastic and comfortable working with children ages 5-12. Camp counselors must attend a training session and be willing to help with at least one full week of camp. Volunteers will work from 9:30am - 2:30pm each camp day.
This years camp dates will be:
June 17 - 21
June 24 - 28
July 8 - 12
July 15 - 19
July 22 - 26
July 29 - August 2
August 5 - 9
August 12 - 16

Description
Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens is an 85-acre non-profit park that includes woodlands, prairie, wetlands, gardens and a 10-acre lake. An estimated 100,000 people come to the park each year to hike, jog, walk their dogs or to simply enjoy the beauty of the gardens and the abundant opportunities to see wildlife.
