UCELC provides high quality early care and education to 149 children ages three months to eight years. We serve children from different cultural and socio economic background, along with children from different family dynamics (grandparent or guardian as custodial parent, student parents, parents who speak English as a second language) in a nurturing, educational environment. In order to provide a high quality education, we are in need of supplies to support the efforts of the teachers. Materials that are used daily by the children include markers, paint, glue, scissors, paint brushes, construction paper, easel paper, colored pencils, stickers, colored tape, painter’s tape, stamp pads and stampers, poster board, books and batteries (to operate cd players, clocks, etc.).
