Disaster Accountability Project

The non-profit Disaster Accountability Project (DAP), is looking for volunteers to research and analyze administrative law and policy policy areas that range from Housing, Disability, Public Health, Communications, Mass Care, Transportation, Mental Health, and others.

Duties can include any of the following: * Read read laws, regulations, GAO reports, testimony, after-action reports and other reports published by a range of expert organizations. * Add policy reports and policy recommendations to DAP's online database * Track implementation status of post-Katrina recommendations * Write reports, briefing, official comments, testimony, blog articles, rapid-response materials

Law, Policy, Public Administration, Social Work, Political Science, Disaster Management, Sociology, and other related disciplines strongly encouraged.

Experience in law, government or policy advocacy, research, or related field highly desired.
