Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
Our mission is to raise funds for Habitat for Humanity by selling donated building materials and furniture to the general public. The profits from these sold items go directly to support the Fox Valley Habitat for Humanity in its mission to build affordable and safe housing for those who lack adequate shelter.
If you are volunteering with us and you have court mandated community service hours to complete, please bring in court ordered paperwork detailing number of hours needed and the offense. We can only accept traffic misdemenor offences. Please note that we do not accept individuals with felony offenses.
