Position Title: Fundraising & Development Intern (Non-paid, internship credit available)
Number of Positions Available: 1
Expected Time Commitment: 10 - 15 hours per week
Position Description: The Fundraising & Development Intern will develop and execute fundraising events and long-term fundraising campaigns in line with the ALOE strategic plan. The intern will work with the Marketing & Communications intern to develop external messaging to increase fundraising participation and exposure to ALOE. The intern will be the relationship manager and point of contact for all existing ALOE donors/supporters/partners and will work to secure additional funds for ALOE through grants, community partnerships, and/or corporate partnerships. The intern will also be responsible for processing donations, preparing acknowledgement letters and other correspondence to donors and/or supporters.
Requested Qualifications: Non-profit or business major/background preferred; Experience in event planning, fundraising, or business development preferred.

When finding your "purpose" life, one feels fulfilled and focused. Even if it changes, a person can move in a positive direction and create a better life for one's self. That is what Another Level of Excellence is all about.
ALOE is a STEM Mentoring and Service Learning organization formed to provide tools and resources to help motivate youth of underserved populations, particularly in the South Cobb & South Fulton County areas. This organization will host STEM workshops, forums, mentoring, provide coaching, and career opportunities and resources to students in need. We link STEM professionals to students and students to their community in need.
