ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley

Learn construction skills and build homes with Habitat for Humanity East Bay/Silicon Valley at our Muir Ridge development! No experience necessary!

Our Muir Ridge development is a new 20-home development project that we are kick-starting in Martinez, where we will be creating a thriving mixed-income community that will be an asset to the surrounding area.

The homes will be simple and modestly sized but will incorporate many green building features addressing resource conservation, indoor air quality, and energy and water efficiency.

We recently finished framing the first seven houses, and are currently working on window and door installation, roofing, siding, rough electrical and plumbing, and insulation. Safety training and building techniques are provided to you by our staff of Construction Crew Leaders!
