Life Enrichment Volunteer for Guardianship Program

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in enriching the lives of older adults with cognitive or physical impairments. Our volunteers provide companionship to our guardianship clients by visiting, reading, reminiscing, sharing pictures or vacation memories, playing games, sharing a meal, transportation to a doctor appt, taking client shopping, to a movie, or out for a meal. This is an extremely valuable volunteer opportunity, as most of our Guardianship clients do not have friends or family to share time with.

Volunteer Requirements: 1) Visit a minimum of twice a month; 2) Observe and report any personal care and social needs / concerns of the individual to Guardianship Staff; and 3) Submit Monthly Activity Reports timely. Volunteers receive initial and on-going training, and staff support is available around the clock. Background check required. Please include your phone number in your email.
