The Anoka County Child Abuse Prevention Council is recruiting for Board Members who have a passion for keeping children in our community safe and would take an active interest in moving that passion to action. The Council is a 501?3 organization whose mission is to prevent maltreatment of children and the development of family strengths and parenting skills. The Council meets monthly (except July and December) at noon to 1:30 PM at the Blaine Human Services Building in Blaine. Meeting times may be adjusted to members who can only meet in the evening.
The Council is particularly interested in applicants in Anoka County who are parents in the community as well as those with experience in social media, fundraising and strategic planning.
