About

PLACEMENT PURPOSE
The American Red Cross - Cascades Region invites College and University students from diverse backgrounds to join us in a variety of Academic Service Learning opportunities. Our Servuce Learning opportunities give students a chance to earn academic credit hours and apply their education and experience to hands-on projects that contribute to the mission of the Red Cross - to prevent and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies. Students are given real-work experience and are provided guided mentorship. Students will have the opportunity to engage in all facets of the organization to get a broad understanding of our Humanitarian, Biomedical and Disaster services. In addition, we are willing to work with you to customize or create a position that will meet your academic needs and/or allow you to explore a potential career.
