Volunteers are the key to success for any volunteer organization. The Purr Project is a dynamic and challenging organization in need of a dedicated person to help lead it's dynamic volunteer team as Volunteer Manager . As volunteer manager, you are one of the most valuable members of the management team. Leading a team of volunteers requires patience, creativity, compromise, commitment, and the desire to learn.

The volunteer manager is responsible for recruiting and training new volunteers, motivating and scheduling current volunteers, leading the monthly volunteer meeting, and staffing special events.

If you're that special person and prepared to take life by the horns, come home and join the team. Experience is not necessary but is helpful - we will teach you what you need to know and give you all of the tools that you need. This opportunity comes with some incentives. To give second chances to those felines that would otherwise be euthanised because of injury, neglect, or abuse by addressing their medical needs and placing them in loving homes - while teaching the public about animal abuse and the circle of violence.

Description

The Purr Project, Inc. is a 501(c)3 organization whose primary duty is to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome - by giving a second chance to good felines that would otherwise be euthanized because of trauma resulting from an accident, abuse, or abandonment.

Reaches out to the community on the subject of abuse through special events and direct teaching.
