Families Helping Families in Crisis

Safe Families for Children? (www.safe-families.org) is a national movement of compassion that gives hope to families in crisis. This network of volunteer Host Families help parents who need to temporarily place their children due to unmanageable or critical circumstances.

Join us at World Beat

Salem's World Beat Festival (www.worldbeatfestival.org/) is held annually on the last weekend in June. This year, the festival will focus on the world of drumming. Join us for a 2 hour shift at the SFFC booth to inform the community about the work being done and opportunities for involvment. If you're working at the event, it's easy to coordinate your shift so you don't miss any of the excitement. We have a great location at the event where you won't miss out on any of the action. Sign up by emailing safefamilies@ccswv.org or calling (503)485-8970.
