Institute of Flight (IF) Ambassadors include such groups as volunteer organizations, corporate community partner programs, school leadership programs, etc. Ambassadors would provide group assistance for events with limited roles under the direction of Membership Coordinator Melvin Givens (melvin@futureofflight.org). Ambassador functions can include:
- Running an Institute of Flight booth (examples: handing out flyers, speaking about membership and education programs, and more)
- Greeting event guests
- Event check-in
- Planning committees
- Event logistics assistance: can include set up, take down, carrying auction items and alcohol to vehicles
- Database work of any kind
- Cash handling or financial responsibilities
- Working with youth
We have nearly one big event every month where ambassadors are highly useful, including:
- Summer Nights, July 7 to August 25, 2017, Every Friday: A social evening upon the Future of Flight Strato Deck with music, sights and food.
- Gala & Auction, October 14, 2017: An elegant evening where guests will receive a catered meal, bid on select auction items and support the Institute of Flight.

Description
The Institute of Flight is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit that serves as the operator of the Future of Flight Aviation center and Boeing Tour facility, which is owned by Snohomish County.
Our role is to strengthen and deepen the visitor experience and provide hands-on STEAM related educational programs to Snohomish County students. We are able to achieve this due to the generosity of our partners, sponsors, members and donors.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour debuted in Fall 2005 as a unique aviation interpretive center and the home of the Boeing Tour, their Everett WA assembly plant.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour offers a remarkable opportunity to see both commercial jet production today and the direction aviation is headed in the future. The Future of Flight Aviation Center Gallery features hands-on exhibits, videos, meeting and conference space and spectacular viewing of planes from that take-off and land at Paine Field on a daily basis.
