HeroSearch.org is a non-profit website that connects people who have donation items to charities who need the items they have.
The Event Planner should have previous event planning and leadership experience and would assist in the planning a Fun 5k June 10th, 2017, as well as other events such as community donation events in St. Paul for multiple charities. The volunteer would be responsible for planning, interacting and coordinating with the parties participating in the event, and helping with promotion and would work closely with the board.
Time committment: The Event Planner may need to attend board meetings (2nd Thursdays of the month 6pm) and/or committee meetings. However, much of this pre-event work is flexible. The volunteer should be available for the Fun 5k event including set up.
