Become a volunteer visitor for an older adult in Marin County! This is a very rewarding volunteer position. The goal is to increase social connections for both the volunteer and the older adult through great conversations.
Volunteers:
Receive training in interpersonal and listening skills
Are matched with an older adult to whom you will provide friendly companionship and a compassionate presence.
- Time Commitment: 6-month minimum, visiting your match each week. You decide a time that works for you and your match.
- Must be 18 years old.
Bilingual volunteers encouraged to apply!

We empower individuals to live connected and fulfilled lives through our Community Services Division. Front Porch’s Community Services Division designs and administers 6 programs addressing 3 social problems affecting older adults: food insecurity, unstable housing, and isolation & loneliness.
