The Summer Meal Program provides free, nutritious meals and snacks in low income areas to children while they are out of school.
Volunteers needed to assist with set-up, distribution and clean-up.
The program will operate from June 12th to August 4th serving meals from 8-9AM for breakfast and from 12-1PM for lunch. Meals will be served at the following locations:
Pico Park, 9528 Beverly Boulevard
Rio Hondo Park, 8421 San Potosi Place
Rivera Park, 9530 Shade Lane
Smith Park, 6016 Rosemead Boulevard
Rio Vista Park, 8751 Coffman & Pico Road
Volunteers can sign up for single or multi days
**Volunteer Application Forms are required and can be found on the City's website www.pico-rivera.org. Applications must be emailed to lreyes@pico-rivera.org prior to participating**
