Become a Trailblazer and combine your love of the outdoors with walking, hiking, biking and horseback riding. Stark Parks provides training in park history, First Aid, and customer service. Applications for Trailblazers are taken throughout the year with an annual spring training class. A second class may be offered mid-summer if there is sufficient interest. Trailblazers must be at least 18 years old.

Stark Parks proudly manages 15 parks, 4 lakes, and over 120 miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trails, totaling over 8,000 acres of land. Stark Parks prides itself on over 50 years of innovation, creativity, and serving the Stark County community with the best parks, trails, and resources available. From the modest beginnings to the recent times of rapid growth, the goal remains to offer places and opportunities for you to enjoy and get your park on.
