The 2018 hurricane season has been extraordinarily active in parts of the U.S., with Hurricane Florence currently impacting millions in the Carolinas. As this natural disaster unfolds, the staff here at VolunteerMatch is doing its part to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you are prepared and safe. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know about the most effective ways to contribute.
Help Homeland Hospice to make a difference in lives of patients, caregivers, and families!
Many needs exist to provide clerical or administrative support in our rapidly growing hospice program. If you enjoy being around people and like an office atmosphere, you can support the care of people in our community who are facing a terminal illness. Assistance can be provided by:
providing receptionist support;
making phone calls to bereaved families;
assisting with development activities;
filing, faxing, scanning;
entering data into computers; and
preparing mailings for the Bereavement program and Volunteer Coordinator
We would be glad to utilize your skills in keeping our records and files up to date! A regular schedule is needed, but it can be as flexible as you need it to be! Contact us today to see how you can help... thank you so much!
