Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.
Great Lakes Caring Hospice, a leading care provider in the Midwest, is looking to add volunteers to our team. We are searching for volunteers who are passionate about making a difference, self-motivated, brimming with creativity and up for a challenge.
Our Bereavement Coordinator is seeking a volunteer who is passionate about the field of psychology, counseling, and/or social work. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm; within that time frame we are flexible with how many hours a volunteer can offer, and at what frequency.
