NACE is a community-supported food shelf and clothing closet, serving north Anoka County. The mission is to provide food and clothing for people in need through the generosity of our community.
Volunteers are vital to feeding hungry neighbors in the Community and serve in the following ways:
Work with clients during food and clothing distribution
Pick up food donations (from local grocery stores, stores and gas stations) and deliver them to NACE
Weighing, sorting food and clothing, and restocking shelves
Front desk/receptionist
Social Media/Website Updates
Fundraising/Events
Volunteers can serve once a month to once weekly!

The Anoka County RSVP connects people age 55 and over who want to volunteer with non-profit and social service programs in Anoka County who need volunteers. Volunteers enroll by completing a skills and interests checklist and these are matched to community needs. From the matches, the volunteer selects a volunteer job that is meaningful and fits. Become one of nearly a half million RSVP volunteers across the country who are making a difference in their community.
