Our Youth Volunteer Team joins alongside our nursing manager and office team to assist with special projects, events, and creating gifts for our patients and families. You will also assist by creating admission packets that our nursing team uses when they go and visit a patient and family for the very first time in the home.
We would love to connect with you to share how you can make a difference in the lives of our loved ones!
If you are a team oriented person with enthusiasm who likes to feel a sense of accomplishment please call 972-791-8885 or email Tiffany Ford, Volunteer Coordinator, at tford@ghospice.com.

Mission Statement
Comfort Hospice of Dallas serves terminally ill and bereaved persons in our community with integrity, compassion and respect. At Comfort Hospice of Dallas we provide family-centered, quality end-of-life care offering a full range of health care services such as medical and nursing care, spiritual and emotional support, social work, personal care, special therapies, volunteer and bereavement services. Grace Hospice is committed to relieving physical, emotional and spiritual pain so that life can be experienced as fully and hopefully as possible.
Description
Hospice volunteers find it personally gratifying, intellectually stimulating, and emotionally meaningful to assist those in need at a critical point in their lives. Many of our volunteers are introduced to hospice thorough the death of a family member and understand firsthand the value of hospice care, but nearly 20% of volunteers are new to hospice. Volunteers consistently report that helping the terminally ill through hospice is not about dying but about living.
