Help staff create a fun adventure each week with an exciting read-aloud book and follow-up activities! You will be helping coordinate games, crafts, and writing workshops for Kinder to 3rd grade students! Staff will guide you on how to prepare and stimulate the children in each activity center. Come join the fun and help kids get ready for reading!
Volunteers will be facilitating small group activities outlined by SAYL Staff members. SAYL Staff will take the first thirty minutes of volunteer service in order to debrief the volunteer on the activity requirements they will be in charge of.
We are looking for volunteers with great leadership skills that are looking to work with young children (ages 6 - 10). Your responsibilities will be directing one of the three activity stations available to the children. Detailed instruction and overseeing by SAYL Staff will be provided.
