During the shelter at home order, we are doing everything possible to ensure the health and safety of both our volunteers and our riders. Volunteers will only be considered if it has been at least 2 weeks since your second dose of a Covid-19 vaccine.
Make a positive difference in someone's day. Vivalon/Whistlestop needs volunteer drivers to give rides to ambulatory adults 65 and older, going to medical appointments. Drivers use your own car and receive ride requests through e-mail and accept online. Pick only the rides that are convenient to your schedule. Clean background check and driving record is mandatory. Individual and remote trainings. Call or email for dates. Rewards are helping older adults in the most basic way.
