Volunteer as a family at our Sunday Programs!
Every 1st through 4th Sunday we host Sunday Friends events at local elementary schools. Our goal is to bring volunteers and families in need together here in San Jose, CA. Volunteers can assist with an array of activities including helping children to prepare healthy foods, create writing and craft projects, participate in educational games and much more!
When families participate in our program activities, they earn tickets which they can later use to shop for basic necessities and gently used items. As a volunteer, you may also monitor and assist families as a "Shopping Guide".
Please visit www.sundayfriends.org for more information. On the website, you may look over the "New Volunteer Orientation" and fill out our new volunteer application.
We hope you and your family will come and join us!
