Calling Hospice Volunteers!
Phelps Regional Homecare Hospice
We are seeking compassionate volunteers willing to visit our terminally ill patients and families, either in a residential home or nursing facility. Volunteers are needed to provide direct support to patients or respite care to caregivers who may need to run errands, or eevn just take a few hours to relax! Volunteers do not administer medications or perform nursing duties, and will receive specialized training through Phelps Regional Homecare Hospice.

At Phelps Regional Homecare, we believe that the final stages of life are just as important as other stages. Our team provides medical and nursing care, and emotional, spiritual and bereavement support for patients and their families. Our nurses are on call all day, everyday to assist patients and their families.
Hospice responds to people's needs for comfort, empowerment, self-directed care and supports the patient's loved ones both during the illness and after death. The goal is to maintain the highest quality of life along with patient and family dignity to the greatest extent possible
Our organizations provides various services to patients and families experiecing the final stages of terminal illness. We utilize a multidisciplinary approach that can involve nurses, social workers, chaplains, bath and homemaker aides, and various therapies to ensure patients remain comfortable and as pain free as possible while living life as fully as their condition allows.
