VIVENT HEALTH Austin

Vivent Health is dedicated to protecting the health and wellbeing of our patients, clients, consumers as well as our staff, volunteers, and the public. While this commitment is unwavering, the Coronavirus epidemic is presenting new challenges that we are taking decisive action to confront and overcome.

While many of our programs are still operating remotely, we will now be opening up the Helping Hands Food Bank to volunteers. There will be strict safety guidelines in place - a limit on the number of volunteers in the Food Bank at any given time to provide proper social distancing, face coverings will be required, as well as gloves and strict hand-washing protocols.

Volunteer shifts are Monday - Friday, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm or 1 pm - 4 pm.

There will be strict protocols in place now that we are Vivent Health. All volunteers must watch attend an online Volunteer Orientation as well as a series of 3 on-line trainings regarding face coverings, physical distancing, and hand washing.

Also, Vivent Health policy is that all volunteers must have a TB Test within two weeks of beginning volunteer work. More information regarding the TB test will be discussed during the online Volunteer Orientation.

Please join us in helping serve our community!
