This Run/Walk Event is NOCC - Central Maryland Chapter's largest awareness and fundraising event. It is a great day for families with lots of kid's activities. Survivors of ovarian cancer are honored and those who have lost their lives to this disease are remembered.
Volunteers are needed for all aspects of this day and in the days preceding the event.

There are 24 chapters across the nation. Central MD is an all volunteer chapter. In addition to local awareness events, ovarian cancer survivor gatherings, and other fundraisers, a large 5KRun/3KWalk is held in September at Westfield Annapolis Mall. While September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and our peak need for volunteers, we seek volunteers for our initiatives year-round.
