The ONE to ONE Challenge is an opportunity to improve the educational outcomes of the children in the Kansas City community. As tutors in this effort, we are asking for ONE hour, ONE day a week to work with 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grade students ONE on ONE in reading. (We gladly welcome tutors willing to dedicate more than one hour or one day each week!)
Tutors may come between the hours of 9:00 am - 12 pm (noon) every Monday - Friday. Volunteers may stay for any length of time during those hours (1 hour, all 3 hours, or anything in between). We have 18 locations to choose from. To find out more about our locations, visit http://www.upperroomprogram.org/volunteer/summer/.
