Wine Tasting & Sailboat Rides to Benefit New Community Sailing Center Building!

Join us for one of the most unique fundraisers in the Twin Cities! Wine on Wayzata Bay is in its 12th year, benefiting Wayzata Sailing Foundation, and brings in 350 guests to enjoy over 100 wines, an array of nautical fun-raising games, live jazz at the lake's edge and sailboat rides at sunset. This year it will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019.

All funds raised at this event support the Wayzata Community Sailing Center programs. The Sailing Center's mission is to empower everyone to discover the benefits of sailing regardless of physical ability, age or economics. WCSC provides skills training for adults, teens and (mainly) children through clinics, classes, camps, adaptive sailing programs for people with disabilities, STEM curriculum and varsity racing. WCSC sailors have fun in a safety-focused program while learning leadership, teamwork and environmental stewardship. WCSC is the only accredited sailing center in Minnesota.

Volunteers are needed for set-up (9am-1pm) AND for the following duties during and after the event (5pm-10:30pm)...

• registration
• restaurant support
• games
• sailboat ride promotion
• selling raffle tickets
