CASA volunteers are well trained and well-supported advocates who give voices to abused and/or neglected children. The primary goal of the CASA program is to ensure that a child's voice is heard and that their basic rights to safety and permanency are upheld. In 2014 more than 190 CASA volunteers advocated on behalf of 590 children. We need more volunteers to reach the waiting list of over 350 children in Jackson County.
The mission of CASA of Jackson and Josephine Counties is to provide specially trained community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children in the pursuit of safe and permanent homes.
CASA of Jackson and Josephine Counties Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non profit. We have approximately 190 volunteers and serve more than 700 children annually. There are more than 450 children waiting for a CASA.
