Faith-based nonprofit serving women coming home from incarceration is seeking women with board experience to help a growing nonprofit. In May 2017 we opened Dinami House, a faith based home for women in reentry. As a young organization, we need help with financial management, strategic planning, fundraising, social media, development and marketing. This is an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of struggling, hurting women. Our board meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month for 1-2 hours. All board members are required to join at least one committee, which requires an additional commitment of 1 hour or more per month.

Women’s Wellness Foundation provides an alternative to recidivism for women leaving incarceration by addressing housing, employment and basic needs, while offering programs which focus on healthy relationships, education and life skills, providing a bridge to a new way of life.
Description
The Women's Wellness Foundation holds a weekly support group for women returning home from incarceration and/or substance abuse treatment. We provide information regarding job opportunities, resolving legal issues, family reunification and more. We also provide clothing, shoes, coats, personal care items, etc. In May 2017 we opened Dinami House, a transitional and transformation living environment for women.
