The American Cancer Society's Road to Recovery program provides free rides to cancer patients to their medical appointments. Drivers use their own vehicle and donate their time and gas. Drivers may drive a few times a week or once a month, whatever their availability allows. Patients must be ambulatory, or bring a caregiver to assist.
