Vigil volunteers provide a calm presence and support at the bedside of hospice patients in their final days and hours. Participation in the hospice companion volunteer program may be required initially. Orientation and ongoing support and training are provided. Description
Transitions Hospice provides end of life care to patients and their families. Patients receive comfort care provided by a team of skilled nurses, aids, social workers, chaplains and volunteers.
