The Center for Educational Opportunity is requesting volunteers for virtual proctoring of the Test for Adult Basic Education (TABE) for students who have registered for the Spring and Fall semester.

Virtual Proctoring consists of becoming TABE certified and following the testing protocols for all students being proctored. Virtual Proctors would be used at the beginning and end of each semester, with the possibility of a request at midterm.

Each term, all students will need to pre and post-test using a TABE online exam.

The exam time length varies based on the type and level of the exam but they can be as long as 4-hour exams.

Our spring term ends during the week of May 10 and post-testing would begin then.

Requirements:

  • Access to a computer with a working camera.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn how to use zoom.
  • Time and interest to become a certified proctor.
  • Attend 2 hour trainings accessed online and a take a short exam.
