The Community Computer Alliance is looking for a Job Readiness Program Manager Intern! The CCA is a Columbus-based nonprofit focusing on job force development for individuals with Autism and other developmental disabilities through an e-waste recycling program. We’re looking for an intern interested in developing real-world skills and experience overseeing our job readiness program.
At this time, the internship is unpaid; however working for a small non-profit means that you’ll have the opportunity to see your projects go from start to finish, as well as make a valuable contribution to your community. Our ideal candidate is someone who is compassionate, nonjudgmental and able to communicate effectively with people from all walks of life. They should have excellent stress-management and people skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with agencies to bring in participants
- Manage the schedules of existing JRP groups
- Build new relationships with agencies
- Go to networking events and man a booth to bring awareness to CCA
- Work with job coaches to train JRP members on volunteer duties
- Collect intake/outtake surveys for participants
- Update program statistics (learning statistics)
- Work with the participants hands-on
- Work with Communications Specialist to manage the volunteer calendar

Description
Community Computer Alliance (CCA) is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization that empowers individuals, improves our communities, and aids in conserving our world - one computer at a time. CCA provides workforce development and job readiness opportunities for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities through our strategic partnerships. Our job readiness program is directly fueled by our licensed and bonded electronic recycling services, which provides career assessment opportunities and long-term internships to individuals who are interested in learning more about technology-a skill that is highly marketable, but unattainable to adults with disabilities. Participants in our program learn job discovery, team work, and personal growth to promote future employment opportunities.
