French Books on India is a free-to-use book list and online library that allows readers to open many books in full text. For the period from 1754, French Books on India has made available for the first time in one place many hundreds of books on India in French previously hidden in various European libraries.
(this site was designed by a volunteer)
The project team are now looking for a volunteer or volunteers who can work with the catalogues in the Rare Books Room of the British Library in London, UK and incorporate into our resource, books published before 1754. Full training will be given if needed. We are entirely flexible as far as volunteering hours are concerned, as long as volunteers can contribute an average of 1-2 hours per week on average for a minimum of six months.
