As summer heats up, so do our food shelves! Keystone is offering produce distribution events for our clients! Fresh produce is very expensive which means many of our shoppers rely on Keystone’s produce as their primary source of fruits and vegetables. We want you to help us make that happen! Keystone operates three food shelf sites providing emergency food services to more than seven thousand people every month - serving over half of Ramsey County. This opportunity to serve as a distribution host will give our clients the fresh produce that allows them to stretch their food supplies even further into the month, giving them nutritious meals even after other food shelf food, food stamps, and monthly income resources may have run out.
We anticipate 100-300 households participating in this event! Volunteers will work with shoppers as they go through the food shelf and bring food out to shoppers’ cars!
