Eco-Cycle is excited to team up with the City of Louisville to go for Zero Waste at Louisville's 82nd Annual Fall Festival and Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 4th, and we need volunteers like you to help make our Zero Waste effort a success!
Volunteering at a Zero Waste Event is fun and easy. You'll work as a Zero Waste Station "Goalie," making sure event-goers put their waste in the right place. You'll also help out with setting up or breaking down zero waste stations. This is a great opportunity to educate the public about Zero Waste, while attending a fun event! Volunteers will be asked to commit to at least one 2-hour shift. Longer shifts are always optional!
There are four shifts available: 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, 11:00 - 1:00 PM, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM* (the last shift includes the all-important clean up!).
To volunteer for Zero Waste at Louisville’s 82nd Annual Fall Festival and Labor Day Parade, please respond to this post and feel free to contact Bill Germain ( bill@ecocycle.org) with any questions.
