Southeast Children's Fund has been serving young children, their families and early childhood professionals for over 20 years. Today, many of the children who benefitted from the high quality, nationally accredited programs offered at Southeast Children's Fund Early Care and Education Centers. In addition, Southeast Children's Fund has successfully prepared hundreds of youth and adults to complete the application process to earn their Child Development Associate (CDA) certificate and enter the field of Early Care and Education.

We are in the midst of a Capital Campaign to raise $20 million to renovate three buildings to state of the art facilities to support the work we do to benefit others.

Description
Southeast Children's Fund is located in the southeast section of Washington, DC. The residents of the neighborhood are resilient and determined to overcome some significant challenges in their lives. Southeast Children's Fund provides high quality, early care and education services to young children, 6 weeks to 5 years old, to make sure they receive the care and education necesssary to have the foundation they deserve to succeed in school and life.
Southeast Children's Fund offers professional development courses and activities to individuals who are interested in entering the field of Early Care and Education, including the Child Development Associatae (CDA) course.
