ORGANIZATION: Sojourner Center

  • 3 people are interested

Sojourner Center's Donation Center receives support from all over the Phoenix Valley and beyond. We support nearly 3,200 women and families each year with much needed items such as clothing, shoes, hygiene products, and furniture.

Some of our larger sized donations of goods and items require Sojourner Center to go pick up these gifts.

We are looking for an able-bodied volunteer that can support our Donation Truck Driver with loading and unloading these donations from the point of pick-up to our Donation Center.

These support shifts are generally 4-6 hour shifts due to driving, loading, and unloading times.

We are needing someone to support on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.

This volunteer must be able to lift at least 50 lbs or more. No driving would be required.

All volunteers must complete a Hope Tour of Sojourner Center, orientation, and obtain a fingerprint clearance card as well as pass a background check.
