Seasons Hospice of NJ provides a special type of healthcare to patients who are at the end of their life. Direct Support Volunteers help by providing compassionate support to our patients and their family members. You can make a difference by...
- Reading aloud
- Singing or playing a musical instrument
- Creating scrapbooks and reminiscing
- Writing letters for the patient
- Sitting with a patient so caregivers can take a break
- Holding a hand
Volunteers are required to be at least 18 years old unless accompanied by a trained adult volunteer (parent or guardian). Seasons Hospice provides service to patients and families in their own homes or nursing facilities. Specific need is in Middlesex and Somerset Counties. Visits are typically 1-3 hours a week and are flexible; they are based on your availability.
