We have positions avaiablie for volunteers as: On-call Advocates, Crisis Line Advocates, Legal Advocates, In-Shelter Advocates and Children's Advocates. Responsibilities vary with each position.
Family Resources Victim's Services programs include: SafePath Survivor Resources (Domestic abuse and Sexual Abuse) , Braking Traffic (Anti-Human Trafficking), Survivors of Homicide and other Violent Crimes.
Family Resources Victim Services serves 5 counties in Iowa and 1 county in Illinois. In order to become a certified victim advocate, it may be necessary to complete the required training. The next scheduled training begins January 9th 5pm-9pm Monday-Thursday for 4 weeks.
