Support True Friends Year-Round Respite Care Program with an Every Day Essentials Drive
Respite care can be a life-saver for families who have 24/7 care duties for a loved one with disabilities. Programs typically begin Friday evening and end late Sunday afternoon. Participants may stay at camp for all or part of a weekend; fees are prorated based on length of stay. True Friends offers respite on multiple weekends throughout the year. Respite services are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
Your company could hold a drive to collect much needed items for our camps. Our wish list for every day essentials includes the things we need to help keep our camps clean and bright, and make our campers feel at home during their stay. It includes life’s basics like paper towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies and practical items that make things easier when times are difficult.Every Day Essentials Wish List:

Description
True Friends provides life changing opportunities for youth and adults with disabilities and high medical needs to reach their true potential. Through camp, respite, travel and other program opportunities, participants learn new skills and build their feelings of self-worth. Staff provide care, encouragement, supervision and learning opportunities to participants.
