United Way of Lee, Hendry,Glades & Okeechobee

  • 59 people are interested

United Way is recruiting volunteers for the ReadingPals program to read to four and five year olds at 16 school sites in Lee and Hendry counties. This requires a commitment of one hour a week during the school year. Pals are matched with a pair of Pre-K or Kindergarten children who need extra help. Pals build a meaningful relationship by providing the individual attention many kids need to thrive.

To sign up for your spot, go to www.unitedwaylee.org/volunteer/ReadingPals or contact Nancy Coker at NancyC@unitedwaylee.org or 239-433-7544.
