Family Futures was fortunate enough to be selected as one of the Whitecaps charity partners for 2015. We will be hosting the 50/50 raffle on August 28 and 50% of the proceeds raised will be donated to our organization. To make this happen, we need the support of at least 16 volunteers. Volunteers will do a trial run on August 8 and will then put it into action on August 28. We will need volunteers to arrive by 5:30 pm both nights and stay until the 8th inning of the game. Though this time can vary, it will be around 9:30 pm (the game starts at 7 pm ). Thus, it is roughly an 8 hour volunteer commitment. This is a great opportunity for volunteer groups of friends, families, or co-workers (volunteers must be 18+).

Description
Family Futures, recently known as the Child and Family Resource Council, focuses on programs and services that promote development, health, and safety for children and their families. Utilizing primary stategies of education, coordination and advocacy, Family Futures uses a variety of ways to accomplish its mission. Some of these include: Healthy Start & Connections Programs, RAVE (Resources Against Violent Encounters), and Community Education including the following: Shaken Baby Syndrome Prevention, Mandated Reporter Training and the Family Resource Guide.
