Neighbors helping neighbors, that is what it is all about. Lend A Hand helps seniors and people with disabilities stay in their homes. We provide rides for medical appointments, prescriptions, groceries, banking or other needs/wants. We deliver 125 bags of produces to homes twice a month and Food boxes once a month. We do yard work and minor safe home projects. Once a month we gather our clients together for lunch and socializing.
We are always looking for new volunteers to help provide our services. We are looking for volunteers with all types of skills and talents and just a little bit of time.
Transportation is a critical need. We adhere to CDC guidelines regarding COVID mitigation protocols, including mandatory masking of all while in an enclosed space.

Mission Statement
Lend A Hand Senior Assistance, Inc. offers support to senior so they can stay in their homes. We train and coordinate neighborhood volunteers who provide free services, including transportation, friendly visits, and access to other resources, allowing older residents to continue to live independently in their own homes and remain a vital part of their community.
